Manitou Group recognized at the “Grands Prix de l’Export” awards ceremony in France
The Manitou Group, global market leader in all-terrain handling equipment, has been awarded the “Pépite à l’Export” prize at the “Grands Prix de l’Export” awards ceremony organized by BFM Business. This third edition recognizes the most ambitious companies, which went the farthest in embodying sources of growth and future development, as well as “export” successes in 2016.
Manitou Group was awarded the “Pépite à l’Export” prize from among 150 nominations. This prize, organized by the information channel BFM Business and awarded by a jury of economics journalists, recognizes Manitou Group for its success internationally, where it realizes 80% of its turnover. Several criteria, such as results, outlook, news and the company’s reputation, played a key role in the jury’s choice. The other prizes awarded were the “Grand Prix”, the “Made in France”, the “Tech in France”, the “1ère aventure à l’export” (first export deal) and the “L’exportateur étranger en France” (foreign exporter in France) awards.
The ceremony, which was broadcasted live on the BFM Business channel and radio station, was held at the Studio Gabriel in Paris before an audience of 350. Michel Denis, CEO of Manitou Group, was delighted to be awarded this prize: “Manitou Group, which is proudly committed to its local, historical roots in the Pays de la Loire, has been seeking to open up into new markets for more than 60 years now.
