Metso presents latest innovations for the mining industry at Exposibram 2017

At Exposibram, the largest mining exhibition in Latin America, Metso will introduce its latest innovations for mining industry, including UltraFine Screen, and the industry-changing MX4(TM) cone crusher featuring Multi-Action technology. Since the US launch in March, over 20 MX crushers have been sold globally.

“Miners deal with day-to-day challenges such as increased production costs and new environmental regulations. At Exposibram we are addressing to these issues by showcasing the most modern solutions for their operations: cutting-edge technologies and service concepts that reduce operating costs and drive sustainable use of natural resources,” says Anderson Brini, Metso’s Vice President for Services in Brazil.

One of the key showpieces, the new UltraFine Screen (UFS) is a solution for sorting fine and ultra-fine material common in concentration circuits. The technology enables reducing the circulating load and the energy consumption when compared to conventional equipment.

The new Metso UltraFine Screen provides one of the most accurate and cost-effective separation technologies through reduced energy and water consumption.

The new MX4 cone crusher combines two individual crushing methods based on the piston and rotating bowl into one machine, ensuring maximum performance and high availability. A robust design makes it suitable for the most demanding mining applications. The MX cone is based on the patented Multi-Action crushing technology, which, combined with other unique features, results in extended maintenance intervals, higher uptime and increased operational safety.

Metso's new MX cone crusher combines for the first-time piston and rotating bowl adjusting technologies previously only available separately on cone crushers.

The Exposibram 2017 will take place in Belo Horizonte, Brazil September 18-21.
