BAM to deliver Visual Control Tower at Dublin Airport

The Irish Aviation Authority has awarded the construction of the new Visual Control Tower (VCT) at Dublin Airport to BAM Ireland, the Irish operating company of Royal BAM Group nv. The contract value is €27 million.

Designed by Dublin’s Scott Tallon Walker Architects, the new VCT comprises three separate but integrated building elements: the control cab and associated elements, the cab supporting shaft and a base building. The base building will accommodate staff facilities, electronic systems and mechanical plant space to provide control of the building environment.
