Mikron Hidrolik lifts Turkey into the future
Mikron Hidrolik is a fast-growing Turkish company that manufactures mobile cranes and materials handling equipment.
The company began operations in the 1990s repairing upper structures and material handling equipment from a small workshop. Within a couple of years, they expanded into manufacturing light mobile cranes. In the year 2000, the business expanded into factory premises in Konya and adopted the brand Mikron Hidrolik, which is Turkish for Micro Hydraulics.
Handling Equipment
Recently, Mikron Hidrolik started to make waste handling grapples, up to 5m3 in size for waste power plants to add to their line of scrap material handling grapples for excavators and cranes which are manufactured for the Turkish scrap metal and shipbreaking industries.
For bulk material handling, Mikron Hidrolik make clamshell bucket handlers and 2 tinned timber handling grabs.
Mobile Cranes
When it comes to mobile cranes, Mikron Hidrolik is Turkey’s leading manufacturer.
Knuckle Boom Cranes
Knuckle boom cranes are the multi-purpose lifting solutions. With a range with lifting capacity from 3 to 18 tonnes, their main market is in agricultural, gas cylinder suppliers and electricity pole installers. These cranes are mounted on trucks, tractors and fishing boats, etc.
Material Handling Cranes
Mounted in fixed locations on concrete basis Mikron Hidrolik electrical material handling cranes are used with polyp-grab in recycling plants.
Forestry Cranes
The first company is Turkey to manufacture cranes for the forestry and timber industry, which are successfully competing with foreign brands. Mikron Hidrolik is now planning to introduce these overseas.
Well Lifting Cranes
Used for well pump servicing to lift and install pipes in deep wells to 250 metres to 350 metres, and with a lifting capacity of 10 tonnes. Currently the company supplies 70% of the local market.
Shotcrete Cranes
Mikron Hidrolik also make shotcrete cranes, which have been hard at work at Tunnelling and Subway Projects in İstanbul, in cooperation with BSP Makina.
Pole Driver Crane
Pole driver crane are used for pole and post installation by traffic departments and their subcontractors in Turkey who rely on this equipment to make sign installation faster, and better than their old methods.
Mikron Hidrolik also manufactures Ctp (PVC) Road Post Reflector Drivers for road signalization and safety services.

Mikron Hidrolik has grown by listening and responding to market in Turkey, and continues to innovate as they expand outwards from their borders into several countries, including Mexico where they have recently appointed a distributor – Bombas y Maquinaria Suarez SA de CV also known as SUDITRA, a well pump manufacturer and water pump supplier.
