Metso recognized again as a leader in the Chilean mining industry

For the seventh consecutive year, Metso was listed as the leading supplier in the Chilean Mining Suppliers’ Ranking conducted by Phibrand. In 2018, Metso was recognized as the best in Grinding Performance and Plant Maintenance Services categories as well as the Most Recognized International Mining Supplier and the Most Innovative International Supplier.

“These four recognitions demonstrate how strategically we work to understand the customers’ needs, innovate new solutions and provide the best service. We are honoured for the trust and appreciation coming from our customers, especially when looking at the fact that we are awarded with the Most Recognized International Mining Supplier for the second year in a row,” says Eduardo Nilo, Senior Vice President for the Pacific Rim Market area and General Manager of Metso Chile.

The ranking is a globally unique survey in the mining industry. It gives an outlook on how the suppliers are positioned in the markets. Metso has been establishing a strong presence in Chile since 1970 and currently has six locations with around 700 employees there.
