Ritchie Bros. set for busy December with over 35 equipment auctions in three weeks
December is traditionally a busy month for Ritchie Bros., as companies across North America and around the world realign and reinvest in their fleets before year-end. This year is no different, with more than 35 auction events and tens of thousands of items to be sold in just three weeks.
Equipment highlights selling in December include 3,000+ truck tractors, 1,600+ excavators, 1,400+ compactors, 800+ loaders, 800+ skid steers, 400+ dozers, 300+ cranes, 200+ articulated dump trucks, 650+ agricultural tractors, 2,000+ aerial work platforms, 850+ dump trucks, 10,000+ military surplus items, and so much more.
“With dozens of live and online events scheduled across North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia, as well our Marketplace-E solution where quality equipment is listed and sold daily, we will certainly have something for everyone this December,” said Ravi Saligram, CEO of Ritchie Bros.
“Later this week we will host our largest-ever GovPlanet military surplus ‘blowout’ event, with 10,000+ items from the U.S. Department of Defense selling in two days; next week we will have huge multi-day events in Dubai, France, Fort Worth, and Edmonton; and the final week before Christmas we will have our IronPlanet end of year sale, which is always a great event.”
Event highlights:
More than 10,000+ items will be sold in GovPlanet’s massive military surplus event on December 7 – 8, including Humvees, tactical vehicles, construction equipment, uniforms, field gear, industrial and commercial equipment and more.
Items will be sold simultaneously via two live auctions in Las Vegas, NV & Atlanta, GA, and an online-only auction via GovPlanet.com.
