New Holland launches technical training programme in Ethiopia

New Holland has launched a new course to train technicians for agricultural equipment and engines in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The course is part of the TechPro2 vocational programme launched by CNH Industrial with the aim to involve local communities in advanced training specifically tailored for young people and provide them with the skills and tools they need to build a successful future in the field of mechanics.

The course will be held at the Don Bosco Technical Center, where a workshop built with New Holland’s assistance will be used for both theoretical study and practical training dedicated to the farming sector. New Holland has also provided a TT75 four-wheel-drive tractor – a model particularly well suited to the area’s farming conditions – for teaching purposes. The seven students enrolled in the new course will have an internship opportunity at a local New Holland Dealer workshop once they have completed the one-year course.
