BIRAL looking forward to a strong 2019
Following a successful 2018, leading meteorological specialist Biral is excited to be starting 2019 with a number of high profile projects and company expansion under way.
Biral’s Marketing Director Nathan Neal is delighted with the company’s progress commenting, “During 2018, we won some very significant projects around the world in the aviation, transport and professional meteorological sectors. To accommodate the increasing demand for Biral’s equipment, we have taken on more development engineers and sales staff, invested in our R&D and expanded our factory premises with a new unit.”
The recent addition of a new industrial unit on site has allowed Biral to more than double its capacity and fully utilise the extra space. All Biral products are designed to provide years of fault-free service with minimal maintenance, but free technical and application support is available if needed from its service staff and product development engineers. The new unit will also allow for customer and end user training as and when required.
Extra training and support on site is all part of Biral’s investment in its workforce and goes hand in hand with the appointment of three new members of staff. The extra premises are proving to be a vital resource for new technology and equipment following the introduction of Biral’s latest products.
Biral also saw success at many of its exhibitions last year, with its staff travelling around the globe to meet customers and introduce its new products to the market. With more exhibitions than ever before, it’s no surprise that sales have increased securing many high profile contracts all over the world.
In the first quarter of 2018, Biral products were flown to Spain for the World ATM Congress conference. The three-day show saw the company showcase its new 360-degree wall stand to display some of its most popular meteorological equipment. Biral also attended the InterMet Asia show in Singapore in April to exhibit its range of products at one of the world’s leading events for the development of meteorological technologies.
Biral has also exhibited at Intertraffic in Amsterdam, aiming more new products at those in the road and transport sectors.
The autumn saw Biral attend the Wind Energy Hamburg event in Germany to target the wind energy market. Following its successful visit to Hamburg, the company went on to exhibit at the Met Tech Expo in Amsterdam. This was a great show for Biral, with the team taking a number of its advanced products including its brand new addition to the BTD lightning warning range for the meteorological market.
