Clearaway expands with SENNEBOGEN 821 E in waste recycling

In Essex, England, recycling company Clearaway Ltd. has recently been working very successfully with a new SENNEBOGEN material handler 821 E series. The machine is being used to presort materials and feed the shredding machine, as is typical for small recycling sites in England.

Clearaway Ltd. offers a full service in the recycling and disposal of household and industrial waste in South Essex and the surrounding area. The company has a range of roll on roll off skips that can be placed on site for customers and then regularly exchanged and emptied as part of a delivery and pick-up service.

In 2018, following over 10 years of experience in waste recycling, the company invested in a new recycling and handling site in Archers Field, Basildon. The decision was clear cut for managing director Paul Whitehair, “We needed to expand our on-site capacity, in order to be able to continue working quickly and professionally for our growing customer base. For this reason we decided to procure a new material handler from SENNEBOGEN and we are very pleased we did.”

Shredder loading and material presorting are the SENNEBOGEN 821 E material handler's main tasks. It was delivered to English customer Clearaway Ltd. in June 2018 by Molson.

In the meantime, the new mobile SENNEBOGEN 821 E material handler, delivered by sales and service partner Molson in June 2018, has developed into an all-purpose machine for the company.

It is used to feed the company’s Doppstadt shredder, as well as presorting the delivered materials and loading trucks. For the driver, the best thing is the elevating comfortable Maxcab, the latest generation of which is even more ergonomic. Its view height of around 5.5 m gives the driver an optimal overview.

The SENNEBOGEN 821 E is equipped with an 11 m attachment and numerous equipment options, from the peripheral cameras to the protective grating on the new Maxcab, which can be elevated by 2.70 m.

The SENNEBOGEN 821 E series is equipped with an 11 m long handling attachment and the reliable hydraulics are driven by an economical 104 kW tier 4 emissions standards diesel engine. The material handler is also equipped with a 650 l sorting grab and various other pieces of equipment useful for demanding recycling work. These include multiple peripheral cameras, a protective grate on the cab and a HydroClean ultra-fine particle oil filter.

For managing director Paul Whitehair it is clear, “In the SENNEBOGEN 821 E we have found the ideal machine for our requirements. Above all, the support supplied by reliable sales and service partner Molson is perfect. Personally, my visit to the SENNEBOGEN plants in Straubing and Wackersdorf was what convinced me. I have never before seen such well organized and clean production of customer specific machines – that impressed me.”
