Clearview will be installing knowledge with free CPD training courses

Roadside engineers tasked with installing wireless vehicle detection can now benefit from free CPD-accredited training.

Clearview Intelligence is offering the new half-day courses on selected dates in March and May at its headquarters in Milton Keynes.

The course, delivered by Clearview’s Product Specialist Alastair King and Senior Project Engineer Jeff Higgs, will provide a comprehensive overview of the company’s M100 wireless vehicle detection system.

Alastair said: “The launch of these new CPD accredited training courses is the latest in a series of steps we are taking to improve the customer experience of our wireless vehicle detection. We have undertaken thorough testing of our product in a variety of live situations and the consistency of performance has led us to increase the warranty period from two to five years.

“However, although we are satisfied and confident in the quality of our product, it will only perform effectively if installed correctly. This free course will review the design, function and supporting equipment required to ensure customers get the best performance and value for money from our wireless vehicle detection system.”

The course will be split into four parts; an introduction to wireless vehicle detection; equipment positioning and site surveys; system installation instructions and configuring the system in the TrafficDot operating software.

The course will feature product demonstrations, interactive activities and question-and-answer sessions.

Places are limited and the sessions will be delivered in small groups to enable Alastair and Jeff to tailor the course to any specific issues.

The courses will take place on 21 March, 1 May and 2 May, running from 10am – 2pm. CPD accredited certificates will be provided upon successful completion.
