From 25 May to 6 October 2019, the Fédération Internationale De L’Automobile European Truck Racing Championship (FIA ETRC) takes place across eight different countries, including Germany, Italy, France, Slovakia and Spain.

This year, CASE is proud to sponsor driver Steffie Halm of Team Schwabentruck, powered by Iveco. FIA ETRC is recognised as the most prestigious truck racing series in Europe and Halm as the sport’s greatest female driver.

“Sponsoring a truck manufactured by our sister brand Iveco is the perfect way to demonstrate the power of a united CNH Industrial group,” says Nicola D’Arpino, Vice President, Sales and Marketing, CASE Construction Equipment Europe. “We are delighted to see the CASE logo featured on the truck and Power Abe, our eagle emblem, emblazoned on the cabin roof. This is a hugely anticipated and respected event and we wish Steffie Halm and all those on Team Schwabentruck the best of luck with the rest of this year’s races.

“With events across Europe, the FIA ETRC is the ideal opportunity to promote the CASE brand in some of our key markets, as well as strengthening our brand presence in some lesser known territories. Events like these help us to build on our position as one of the continent’s leading construction equipment manufacturers,” continues D’Arpino.

The next round of the competition will take place in Germany’s iconic Nürburgring on 20-21 July. With Halm currently sat in second place in the driver’s rankings, she’ll be looking to gain as many points as possible on home soil.

“Everyone at CASE hopes Steffie can leave her home race as the number one driver in the standings,” hopes D’Arpino.
