Saint-Gobain PAM UK’s Install Plus shortlisted for Highways UK Innovation Award

Install Plus, the revolutionary ironwork frame levelling system and installation system developed by leading access cover and grating manufacturer Saint-Gobain PAM UK, has been shortlisted in the Civils & Materials Innovation Hub awards by Highways UK.

Install Plus is part of Saint-Gobain PAM’s ongoing design innovation programme that aims to reduce the estimated £200m spent every year on prematurely failing carriageway ironwork. In addition, Install Plus is actually part of a wider full-system approach that includes best practice installation methods and extended warranty declarations.

The Civils & Materials Innovation Hub awards will be presented during the Highways UK event, taking place at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham on the 6th and 7th of November 2019.

Paul Thompson, Marketing Manager for Saint-Gobain PAM UK, commented; “We were thrilled to see Install Plus nominated for the Civils & Materials Innovation Hub awards, as it recognises all of the great work that went in to developing the system. Our customers are already reaping the benefits of using the system, which is reducing the need for remedial works, lowering overall installation and whole life costs and improving conditions for all road users.

“Our systems are designed to reduce the time spent specifying and installing products whilst simultaneously lowering whole-life costs and reducing the need for repairs. By talking to our customers, finding out their pain points and developing systems and processes that meet their needs, we can help to drive the industry forward, reduce overall spending and meet the needs of Britain’s road users better than ever before.”
