Millwood and Mid-TN strike mass distributor agreement in the US
Millwood, Inc. has signed a mass distributor agreement with Mid-TN, one of the leading erosion control and stormwater management services provider in the mid-south, to sell CORE Erosion Control branded compost filter socks and switchgrass.
The filter socks will be manufactured at Millwood’s Tompkinsville, KY.
“Millwood will act as the sock manufacturer to Mid-TN,” said Chris Sztenderowicz, sales director at CORE erosion control.
As part of the agreement, Mid-TN will purchase 6,000 units of CORE compost filter sock and/or switchgrass for the remainder of fiscal year 2020.
These erosion and sediment control products are designed to act as a buffer or barrier that filters sediment and other potentially harmful product from construction sites to waterways and other areas of land where protection is needed.
Last September, Millwood acquired CORE Erosion Control Services in Sewell, NJ. With it came the company’s 30th location nationwide and a new product brand with compost filter socks being the featured product.
Since acquiring the business, Millwood’s CORE Erosion Control Services sales team has grown by nine, and the company has added three compost filter sock manufacturing locations.
“As we continue to build relationships and gain trust with industry folks, the goal is to expand even more,” Sztenderowicz said. “We’d like to see growth with the other products in the line also.”

- Fencing
- Pipeline skids
- Natural adsorbents
The first load of compost filter sock was manufactured in Tompkinsville on March 10 with the first truckload leaving on March 12, a job Mid-TN began on March 13.
