With the majority of Biral’s meteorological sensors being exported, the international sales team covers the globe from its offices based in Bristol, UK.

The team works with a wide range of applications and clients around the world and offers pre-sales technical and commercial support to all customers to ensure the correct sensor is specified for every installation.

Applications for Biral sensors range from aviation and highways to oil industry and wind energy. Biral is keen to update its customers on who they need to speak with when it comes to their next project or when they require information about a specific product.

Nathan Neal as Sales and Marketing Director takes overall responsibility for all sales and marketing activities. In addition, he manages clients outside of Europe as well as supporting the company’s key global accounts. Nathan’s instrumentation experience has been gained over the last 30 years working with many highly specialised and niche sensor manufacturers across multiple sectors.

As part of its expansion strategy, Biral appointed Artur Miller at the end of last year as International Sales Manager, responsible for the sales of its complete range of Biral meteorological sensors to both new and existing customers. In his role, Artur concentrates on the development of new application areas and markets, new sales channels and partners, the training of sales engineers and attends exhibitions and meetings with prospective end-users.

With equally important UK customers, Steve Goodfellow as UK Sales Manager takes responsibility for supporting Biral’s specialist customers in the UK whilst having particular expertise regarding the Thies range of meteorological sensors. Steve’s technical sales experience spans over 40 years having worked for some of the worlds most specialised sensor and measurement companies across many industries and market sectors. His excellent engineering and sensor knowledge give him a great overview of almost any technical application.

Established in 1975 Biral is a leading manufacturer of meteorological instruments and supplies the international market with one of the largest ranges of products available. Its scope extends from sensors to measure wind, temperature, precipitation, visibility, solar radiation and other standard parameters to present weather sensors and complete weather stations. The company’s products can be used across a diverse number of applications in the aviation, oil and gas, marine and wind energy markets as well as for roads and highways. Biral is also a specialist in the design, manufacture and supply of particle analysis and climate research instruments for science, industry and the environment.
