Highways.Today wins two International Media Awards
This week Highways.Today is excited to have won not one, but two media awards!
Highways.Today was launched in 2017 by Anthony Davis who commented: “Winning one international media award was great, but winning two in one week is absolutely fabulous!
“It is always great when I get positive feedback from our regular readers and from the industry companies that I work with, so to receive these awards from the actual media industry was extra special.”
Anthony continued: “Before starting Highways.Today, I had no publishing or news media experience at all so it has been a steep learning curve. There are many excellent construction news outlets but I chose not to try and compete – just to do my own thing.
“I have a policy of not publishing anything negative and steer away from stories that sensationalize or exaggerate the news, but I do like writing about technology and future innovations.”
Anthony runs Highways.Today on his own, doing all the website development, programming and graphic design work, as well as all the journalism, news gathering, editing, publishing, and social media marketing.
Highways.Today quickly earned a good reputation in the construction industry as a publication that educates and promotes the industry on a global basis with an audience that now averages 220k visitors per month.
Corporate Vision – Media Innovation Award
Highways.Today won a Media Innovation Award from Corporate Vision – the gatekeepers of better business – who celebrate businesses all over the world that strive to be better than they were – innovating, growing, and thriving, despite challenges and uncertainty.
BUILD – Construction & Engineering Award
The international BUILD magazine judged Highways.Today “Best Online Construction News Platform of 2021.” BUILD magazine is a publication dedicated to the worldwide construction and property markets, delivering the latest insights on sustainability and infrastructure.
Anthony has a long list of features and projects to add to Highways.Today and plans to keep delivering quality news and content to the global construction industry.
“Thank you!”
