Dawsongroup Sweepers expands with RSP Suction Excavator fleet

Dawsongroup Sweepers, the UK’s leading rental supplier of industrial and municipal cleaning vehicles, has launched a range of suction excavators, as it expands its fleet into new markets.

The vehicle range, which will support the construction, utilities, and highways industries, features the first RSP suction excavator on a Volvo FMX chassis, offering a premium cab and better fuel efficiency.

Following the launch, Dawsongroup sweepers has secured its first major contract for the vehicles, with international infrastructure group, Balfour Beatty.

Working across construction, civil engineering, utility and nuclear sector contracts, the new suction excavator fleet will help Balfour Beatty’s customers avoid costly fines and penalties, reduce tipping charges, and minimise environmental damage.

The firm will also benefit from Dawsongroup sweepers first class customer service and maintenance offer, ensuring their fleet stays fully operational and on the road.

Paul Beddows, Head of Sales at Dawsongroup sweepers, said: “As we diversify and spread into new markets, we are constantly adding to our fleet to offer the highest quality vehicles to a wide range of sectors.

“Not only can we offer an extremely premium suction excavator, we can back this up with our industry-leading service and maintenance support. This combination is what landed us the contract with Balfour Beatty, and we very much look forward to supporting them, and the wider sector, with our new offer.”
