Dalkia celebrates 12 month extension on North and Mid Wales Contract

Dalkia, a leading technical and energy solutions provider in the UK, has secured a second 12-month extension to its existing 3-year contract with North and Mid Wales Trunk Road Agent, who is responsible for managing, maintaining, and improving the strategic road network in North and Mid Wales on behalf of the Welsh Government.

The contract has now been extended for a second time to the maximum permitted duration of 5 years through until May 2025 and covers an extensive range of services that maintain the critical infrastructure of North and Mid Wales.

The wide scope of work includes, but is not limited to, maintenance and oversight of high-voltage and low-voltage switchboards/networks, tunnel lighting and ventilation, tunnel lane control and matrix signage, public address systems, radio rebroadcasting systems, gas detection systems, nitrogen foam systems, fire detection, VAID and CCTV systems, and more.

Operating from their regional office, based in Mochdre, Colwyn Bay, North Wales, Dalkia’s dedicated team of local engineers, IT specialists, and project administrators are equipped to respond swiftly to any situation with a 24-hour, 365-days-a-year call-out cover. The project spans the entirety of North and Mid Wales, reaching from Anglesey to the Brecon Beacons.
