Canadian Myshak Crane and Rigging adopts Tadano GT-1200XL-2 Truck Crane

The Myshak Group has been serving the crane needs of Alberta contractors and businesses for over 20 years. Myshak has just purchased the first Tadano GT-1200XL-2 Truck Crane (5-section 167.3′ main boom, 33.1 ft / 58.1 ft bifold jib, max speed 105 km/h) in Canada, and it is to be operated by Myshak Crane & Rigging as they were a key partner in the development of this impressive machine.

With valuable input on axle weights, dollies and more, Myshak helped with the design of this ideal taxi crane for the Canadian market.

The Myshak Group describes the exciting new addition to their fleet: “We are thrilled to have Tadano back in the Canadian truck crane market. The GT-1200XL-2 fits into a great space in our fleet, and we believe our customers will see this product as an ideal taxi crane. Tadano is known for well-designed and high-performance cranes, and we are excited to put this truck crane to work.”

Tadano America Regional Business Manager Justin Andrews, adds: “We are very excited that the first GT-1200XL-2 in Canada will go to Myshak. The GT-1200XL-2 is an outstanding machine, and it will be the perfect taxi crane for Myshak’s customer base.”

The new Tadano truck cranes for the Canadian and US markets can easily get special permitting for transport, as they feature low axle weights, narrow transport width and long boom designs. The GT-1200XL-2 is designed to provide customers with superior utilization, return on investment and lower cost of ownership. Built with many of the same field-proven, reliable components as GR Series rough terrain cranes, these new models offer the same high quality and rugged durability that Tadano customers have come to expect.

Tadano America Vice President of Sales Ken Butz is pleased that Myshak will receive the inaugural GT-1200XL-2 in Canada: “The Myshak family and Tadano have enjoyed a strong and successful partnership for many years.

“They have proudly represented the Tadano brand in western Canada by building an extensive fleet of Tadano cranes including GR rough-terrain, AC all-terrain, CC lattice boom crawler cranes and GTC telescopic boom crawler cranes.

“Both Myshak and Tadano are dedicated to exceeding customer expectations by offering the best quality and service in the crane industry, and the addition of new model GT-1200XL-2 truck crane will play a key role in helping both of our companies achieve that goal.”
