Sunstone Systems and WJ Group celebrate Security and Fire Excellence Awards
Sunstone Systems and WJ Group have been awarded the βSecurity Partnering Initiative of the Yearβ at the Security & Fire Excellence Awards.
Recognised for their carbon reducing solar powered surveillance system, the ARC 4.0, the award highlights both businessesβ commitments to continued eco-friendly innovation in the highways sector.
The latest technology, which removes the need for hardwired or diesel-powered solutions when installing temporary CCTV systems at sites, such as roadworks, combines WJ Groupβs highways knowledge and Sunstone Systemsβ security expertise.
With other benefits including improved efficiency, a reduced risk of errors and fewer project delays, the ARC 4.0 helps meet local authoritiesβ needs as well as keeping their sustainability commitments in mind.
Now in its 24th year, the Security & Fire Excellence Awards are regarded as the Security industry’s highest honours, showcasing the yearβs best work to other businesses within the industry.
Wayne Johnson, CEO of WJ Group said: βAs leaders in highways innovations, it was great to work with a similarly committed business to create an eco-friendly solution to reduce our dependence on unsustainable fuels. This collaboration is not just about combining strengths; itβs about creating a synergy that leads to ground-breaking solutions for the UK’s highways.
βReceiving recognition from the Security & Fire Excellence Awards only goes to show the effectiveness of the partnership.β
Paul Schelhaas, CEO of Sunstone Systems went on to say: βProviding our clients with technology that surpasses their expectations is what we want to achieve and by working with WJ Group, collectively we have made that a reality. With our combined end goal in mind, we have created a solution that underpins our desire to innovate solutions while keeping the objective of sustainability in mind.
