DEVELON Celebrates Milestone in Germany with Unveiling of New Headquarters

DEVELON, formerly known as Doosan Construction Equipment, has reached another significant milestone with the handover of keys to its brand-new headquarters in Mannheim, Germany.

The company expressed its gratitude to ADLER Immobilien Investment for their seamless collaboration in bringing this ambitious project to life. This state-of-the-art facility cements DEVELON’s commitment to the Germany/Switzerland/Austria (GSA) region, showcasing its dedication to innovation and expansion.

Located in Mannheim Friedrichsfeld, the modern building is more than just a headquarters; it’s a strategic hub designed to bolster the company’s market presence in one of Europe’s most important regions. This move not only solidifies DEVELON’s foothold but also highlights its focus on creating a dynamic and efficient working environment that supports the development of its globally recognised construction equipment and technologies.

A Modern Facility Built for the Future

The new headquarters spans an impressive 10,650 m² of usable space, purposefully designed to cater to DEVELON’s multifaceted operations. From sales and service to rental and spare parts, the facility is a one-stop destination for the company’s key functions. In addition, it houses a cutting-edge training centre complete with training workshops, classrooms, and a dedicated test area.

The inclusion of these modern amenities underscores DEVELON’s commitment to excellence. By investing in such facilities, the company ensures its employees, dealers, and customers have access to top-notch resources, setting a new benchmark in the industry. This focus on training and development aligns with DEVELON’s vision to empower its network of GSA dealers with the skills and knowledge needed to maximise their potential.

Enhanced Customer Experience and Rental Services

DEVELON is placing a particular emphasis on improving customer experience in the Rhine-Main-Neckar region. The facility’s spacious workshops are equipped to deliver exceptional service, ensuring that customers receive the quality they’ve come to expect from the brand.

Moreover, DEVELON is scaling up its rental services to meet the growing demands of its major clients and dealership network. By offering a ‘test the innovations’ programme, the company provides customers with hands-on access to its latest technologies—a feature set to debut at the upcoming bauma trade fair in April 2025. This strategy not only enhances customer engagement but also reinforces DEVELON’s reputation as a leader in construction innovation.

A New Chapter Begins in Mannheim

In February 2025, DEVELON will begin the transition to its new headquarters at Lembacher Strasse 30. Once the move is completed, operations at the current temporary location on Seckenheimer Landstrasse will cease by the end of the month. From 1st March 2025, the new facility will officially open its doors, providing a centralised hub for sales, rentals, service, spare parts, and training.

DEVELON’s training rooms have already seen high demand, with sessions for GSA dealers fully booked from March to June. This robust schedule highlights the company’s proactive approach to dealer education, ensuring they are well-versed in the latest product innovations ahead of the bauma trade fair.

Leveraging bauma 2025 for Innovation

The upcoming bauma 2025 trade fair promises to be a pivotal event for DEVELON. March will be dedicated to training GSA dealers on the innovations set to debut at the exhibition. These training sessions will ensure that dealers are prepared to demonstrate DEVELON’s cutting-edge solutions to customers and industry stakeholders.

Post-bauma, the innovations showcased will continue to play a central role at the Mannheim facility. By extending the trade fair’s impact, DEVELON ensures that the momentum generated at bauma carries over into its daily operations, strengthening its market position and customer relationships.

A Global Leader in Construction Equipment

As a brand of HD Hyundai Infracore, DEVELON stands as one of the world’s leading manufacturers of construction, quarry, and mining equipment. Its extensive product portfolio includes:

With its strategic location, modern amenities, and focus on customer and dealer engagement, DEVELON is well-positioned to shape the future of the construction industry in the GSA region and beyond.

As bauma 2025 approaches, the new facility will play a pivotal role in showcasing DEVELON’s latest advancements, ensuring that the company remains at the forefront of industry innovation.
