Key Features of Komatsu’s New Loaders

1. Low-Emission, High-Performance Engine

At the heart of these new loaders is a 53.7 kW Stage V-compliant engine, equipped with a diesel particulate filter. This ensures a low-emission operation while maintaining high power output, making it an environmentally conscious choice without compromising performance.

2. Unrivalled Stability and Control

Komatsu has engineered these machines with an uncompromised symmetrical layout, guaranteeing optimal weight distribution and stability across all terrains. With an operating capacity exceeding 1.6 tonnes in both models, operators can confidently tackle demanding jobs with precision and ease.

3. Maximum Power and Productivity

Built to outperform competitors, the new skid steer and compact track loader deliver impressive drawbar pull, breakout force, and lift pin height. Their lifting capacity surpasses equivalent models on the market, providing operators with the power to handle tough tasks effortlessly.

4. Advanced Hydraulic System for Superior Performance

The redesigned hydraulic system integrates a standard high-flow setting with a variable displacement pump, ensuring consistent power delivery to attachments. The latest EPC joysticks allow for precise control and configurable travel settings, further enhancing operational efficiency.

5. Reduced Maintenance and Cost-Effective Operation

A major advantage of these loaders is their simplified maintenance requirements. The absence of SCR aftertreatment reduces overall running costs, while a reversible fan drive prevents excessive dirt accumulation in the engine room, improving longevity and performance.

6. Ergonomic Cab for Operator Comfort

Komatsu has redefined comfort with a redesigned cab layout. A pull-up sliding door ensures ease of entry and uninterrupted operation, regardless of the attachment in use. The suspended operator console, coupled with an air-suspended seat, maximizes comfort, while a pressurised cab keeps dust and debris at bay. For further customization, an additional double-adjustment seat guide helps operators fine-tune their positioning relative to the EPC, monitor, and seat bar.

7. Cutting-Edge Safety and Versatility Features

Safety remains a top priority, and Komatsu has equipped these loaders with a rear-view camera and human detection system. An optional five-port auxiliary hydraulic line enhances attachment compatibility, while standard LED lights and an integrated 5” touchscreen monitor with a built-in radio provide a seamless user experience. Additionally, an optional front hydraulic quick coupler further extends operational versatility.

8. Smart Operator Assistance Functions

Komatsu’s latest software innovations introduce a range of intelligent functions designed to improve efficiency and ease of use, including:

  • Slow Speed System – Enables precise control for delicate tasks.
  • Cruise Control – Maintains a steady speed for increased efficiency in repetitive operations.
  • Return to Dig – Automates bucket positioning for faster cycle times.
  • Adaptive Steering – Adjusts steering responsiveness to suit various job site conditions.
  • Multiple Drive Modes – Three selectable drive modes cater to different applications, optimizing power and fuel consumption accordingly.
