Stellar Industries Gears Up for Global Impact with Bauma 2025 Debut

Stellar Industries is pulling out all the stops as it prepares for its first-ever appearance at bauma 2025 in Munich, Germany — the global epicentre of construction, mining, and heavy equipment innovation. Set to take place from 7 to 13 April, the internationally renowned trade fair is where big names, bold ideas, and breakthrough tech converge. And this year, Stellar is bringing its A-game.

Occupying booth FN/922/9, Stellar will spotlight its TM16160/28000 Large OTR Tyre Service Truck, a true workhorse in the world of heavy-duty field service. At the heart of this beast? The high-capacity Stellar® 110P Two-Stage Air Compressor, designed to tackle the kind of gruelling on-site demands that define modern mining and construction operations.

“We’re excited to exhibit at bauma for the first time and showcase how Stellar’s advanced service equipment supports the global construction and mining industries,” said Dave Zrostlik, President of Stellar. “As we continue expanding internationally, this show is a valuable opportunity to connect with Stellar customers and partners to better understand their needs and ensure we’re delivering the best solutions for their operations.”

The TM16160/28000 Takes Centre Stage

There’s no doubt about it — the star of Stellar’s stand will be the TM16160/28000 Large OTR Tyre Service Truck. Engineered for maximum uptime, it boasts a 6.1-metre (20-foot) body capable of hauling off-the-road (OTR) tyres, with integrated storage for tools, components, and field essentials.

But the real magic happens at the back. The rear-mounted tyre manipulator features impressive specs: +80° to -24° articulation, a whopping 315° rotation, and a clamping width of up to 401 cm (158 inches). Designed for flexibility, it can handle tyre and rim combinations up to 7,500 kg (16,500 lbs) — and just as comfortably, service tyres as small as 102 cm (40 inches) in diameter. That’s some serious range.

A standout component is its parallelogram design and continuous rotating pads, offering not just muscle, but precision and efficiency that keep downtime at bay and productivity ticking.

The Stellar 110P Two-Stage Compressor

What’s power without performance? To meet the intensive demands of remote mining and heavy construction, the TM16160/28000 is equipped with the Stellar 110P Two-Stage Air Compressor. This hydraulic-driven, air-cooled unit pumps out a hefty 3,110 litres per minute (110 CFM) at 12 bar (175 psi).

That means plenty of juice for inflating massive tyres, running pneumatic tools, or powering impact wrenches — all without skipping a beat. And it does it all while maintaining compact efficiency, making it an essential tool for mobile repair and maintenance teams in the harshest environments.

Adding to its site-readiness is Stellar’s modified A-frame stabiliser system. This hybrid combines the tried-and-tested durability of traditional stabilisers with the nimbleness of out-and-down outriggers. The result? Rock-solid stability, even on the most unforgiving terrain.

Innovation with a Global Vision

Since its founding in 1990 in Garner, Iowa, Stellar has grown into a trailblazer in the field service truck industry, with operations now spanning multiple U.S. locations. The company remains 100% employee-owned, a model that has helped fuel its culture of innovation, dedication, and customer focus.

Zrostlik added: “As the industry evolves, staying ahead of technological advancements is crucial. Travelling to shows like bauma also allows us to see what’s coming in global truck design — whether it’s advancements in emissions technology, new power sources or innovative design improvements.”

But for Stellar, this trip is more than just a business move — it’s personal.

“Prior to the existence of Stellar, my dad, Francis Zrostlik, attended bauma to learn about the cutting-edge technology shaping the construction industry worldwide,” Dave continued. “He understood that innovation doesn’t happen in isolation — you have to get out and see what’s possible. Now, more than 30 years later, it’s incredibly meaningful to bring Stellar to the same stage where he once stood as a curious entrepreneur.”

Learning from the Field, Leading the Industry

A key part of Stellar’s development strategy revolves around customer insight. From fleet managers to field technicians, the company listens to those on the frontlines to guide product improvements.

“A company that doesn’t continuously evolve will eventually fall behind,” said Zrostlik. “bauma presents an opportunity for us to learn from our customers, refine our products to meet their needs and continue leading in our markets.”

With ongoing investments in R&D and feedback loops established through international exhibitions, Stellar ensures that every innovation is grounded in real-world application. It’s this responsive mindset that has earned them a loyal and growing global customer base.

A Must-Visit Booth at bauma

Attendees at bauma 2025 should mark their maps for booth FN/922/9. Whether you’re a construction fleet operator, a mining contractor, or an equipment distributor looking to broaden your portfolio, Stellar’s latest offering is one to watch.

The TM16160/28000 and its power-packed compressor are more than just machines — they’re proof of Stellar’s commitment to keeping operations running smoothly, no matter the industry or location. Backed by a team of owners who truly care, and supported by decades of mechanical know-how, Stellar is ready to make waves on the international stage.

Stellar’s Future is Global

Stellar’s debut at bauma isn’t just another trade show appearance — it’s a statement of intent. With innovation at its core, customer needs front-and-centre, and a heritage steeped in global learning, Stellar is positioning itself as a true partner for the international heavy-duty service sector.

As industries evolve, and new challenges emerge in the construction and mining worlds, it’s the adaptable, forward-thinking players like Stellar who’ll continue leading the charge. And if bauma 2025 is any indication, the road ahead looks incredibly promising.
