Valoriza wins €30m maintenance contract for lines 2 and 6 of Santiago Metro

Sacyr’s subsidiary, Valoriza Facilities, has won the contract to clean and maintain minor lines 2 and 6 of the Santiago de Chile Metro for €30 million.

The contract includes the cleaning and maintenance of 32 stations (220,300 m²), intermodal terminals and workshops (40,300 m²) and roads (25 kilometres), as well as the cleaning of trains (38 trains) over a period of 42 months, with the possibility of an extension.

The service includes cleaning, removal of waste, sanitization, disinfection, odorization, supply of supplies and gardening, while the maintenance service includes painting, plumbing, graffiti removal, welding, partitioning, and maintenance of gutters and roofs.

Valoriza Facilities is a specialist in providing services of Facility Management (integral management of buildings), and Facility Services (services of support to buildings); in Chile, it manages contracts with the National Congress of Chile in Valparaíso, the new Regional Hospital of Antofagasta and the Mall of the Free Trade Zone of Iquique (Zofri), among others.

The subsidiary of Sacyr is in the top 10 in facility services (facility management, cleaning, integral maintenance of facilities, energy services and auxiliary services).
