AGD Systems, one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of ITS product solutions, is to exhibit at this year’s Traffex Seeing is Believing (SIB) – 27-28 June 2018 at Bruntingthorpe, Leicestershire.

At Traffex SIB AGD will showcase its WiFi-enabled, IP-capable 645 Pedestrian Detector – now with larger 10m x 3m detection zone, and the non-intrusive, loop-replacing 318 Traffic Control Radar. These highly successful products deliver unprecedented ease of deployment, integration and setup to allow maximum flexibility for evolving traffic models.

At the show, AGD will also be previewing an exciting new radar detection product for highways. The new AGD 343 Highways Monitoring Radar opens fresh markets for the company and will bring its solutions to new customers and channels internationally.

Developed using AGD’s experience and expertise in designing radars for highway enforcement, the 343 is an easy-to-integrate traffic flow monitoring solution that provides real-time data on multi-lane highways. Designed for traffic profiling and incident detection, the 343 dramatically enhances highway safety, capability and efficiency.

“Our new highways monitoring radar will collect detailed traffic flow data on the network, replacing loop technology to monitor multiple lanes on inter-urban routes,” explains Ian Hind.

“It employs proven enforcement-grade radar and measurement techniques to quantify speed, range and length of passing vehicles. The radar allows instant decision-making in determining whether traffic is free-moving, slowing or starting to queue.”

AGD can be found on stand 19 inside the exhibition hall, and on plot 4 outside at Traffex SIB 2018.
