Montracon expands their machinery carrier trailer range

Montracon Ltd of Mallusk, Belfast, Northern Ireland, has expanded its machinery carrier trailer range for the UK and Ireland following on from the successful introduction of the three-axle MT45 fixed bed machinery trailer launched in 2017.

Now the company is releasing the three-axle MT39 range specifically targeting the access platform industry.

Jeff Wright, national account manager (special products) at Montracon, said: “due to the high demand for the MT45 three axle trailer, it was now adding the MT39 to its machinery carrier range. Whilst variants of this type of machinery carrier have already left the Montracon stable; due to the successful modular approach of the MT45, the same ethos has been adopted within the MT39 product.”

Plated to 39 tonnes, Montracon says the MT39 will speed up loading and unloading as it comes as standard with a 500mm deck to neck height double taper goose neck, which offers a shallow 10 degree gradual neck and beavertail slope. The option of clip on or hydraulically powered lead-on rear ramps, retractable legs at the rear and ample side and deck lashing rings / cleats are just a number of pre-designed options on offer.

Wright continued: “Over the past 2 to 2½ years Montracon has been working hard on the MT45 trailer product range both within the market and also on the design of the product. With the MT45 we believe we have the right product, with the right base line spec and at the right price, so the only logical approach was to extend the product range with the introduction of the MT39 trailer.”

Production of the MT39 is expected to be alongside the MT45 trailer variants at the company’s specialist trailer division in Mallusk, and with stock orders already in the system the new MT39 will be on the road 3rd quarter 2019.
