Colas awarded Hampshire County Council framework continuation
Colas is delighted to have been awarded a place on the Hampshire County Council – Generation 4-1 Civil Engineering, Highways and Transportation Collaborative Framework.
This four year framework will run from April 1st 2020 and will include works with a value up to £250,000.
The collaborative framework includes fourteen local authorities throughout Hampshire, eight of whom Colas has previously completed schemes for under the current Generation 3-1 framework.
Over the last four years, Colas has delivered 40 improvement schemes which have included footway widening, cycle tracks and pathways, junction improvements, VMS sign installation, busways and signalised crossings.
The Colas team is based in Portsmouth and can draw on national and international experts with a depth of expertise in civil engineering and integrated transport solutions should projects require additional support.
This combination of vast global experience with local knowledge delivers successful schemes for communities within the fourteen local authorities, bringing innovative techniques and equipment to deliver environmentally-sustainable projects, reduce carbon footprint and improve accessibility.
Faical Lahmamsi, Colas Executive Director for National and Regional Operations says: ‘We value the award of our place on the Hampshire County Council Framework. We are well located and resourced in the region and our strong track record of working with our client reflects how we can maximise the added value we can bring to projects in the next four years’.
