After winning Catalogue of the Year at the Hire Awards of Excellence 2020, GAP Hire Solutions, the UK’s largest independent hire company, has unveiled its new catalogue for 2021.

This year the company is releasing a digital only version, via their website, helping to reduce the amount of paper used. GAP is continuously working towards becoming carbon neutral by 2040 and the reduction in use of paper plays an important part in GAP’s carbon footprint. The digital 2021 catalogue is available in an easy-to-use flipping book format, giving the feel of flicking through a physical catalogue.

GAP’s new products have been included in the new catalogue, many of them falling under the environmental and innovative category. Excavators, dumpers and telehandlers with Stage V engines are available for hire, along with solar lights, electric vehicles and the award-winning Ecosmart ZERO Welfare Unit. A double page spread outlines GAP’s goals and achievements in relation to helping the environment and the innovations involved in doing so. Thanks to the catalogue being wholly digital and interactive, a button with a link to the hire company’s eco products comparison brochure has been added to inform GAP’s customers.

The firm’s specialist and technical divisions are continuing to expand. Since its launch in early 2020, GAP’s Tanker Services division has gone from strength to strength. The new Tanker Services section in GAP’s 2021 catalogue details all that this division can do for its customers, from effluent tank and septic tank emptying to static welfare unit emptying and large-scale toilet servicing, with vehicles ranging from 4x4s to 26t tankers.

GAP’s Trenching & Shoring division continues to grow with national depot coverage and technical specialists. The team provide customers with Temporary Works Designs, produced in house and are moving into the supply of larger frames in early 2021.

In addition, GAP’s Survey & Safety division has recently formed a new Survey Technical Services department which now offers Machine Control Services. The 2021 catalogue outlines what this new service will cover and how GAP can support its customers through this, including a full range of cab kits that come with installation, operator training and repairs.

On top of all the new products and services that GAP has invested in and developed throughout the last year, its new for 2021 catalogue clearly displays each and every one of GAP’s 146, UK-wide locations with addresses and contact information. GAP’s brand new and recently relocated depots, such as Tilbury, Bodmin and Heathrow, have been added and updated to make it easier for its customers to find them.
