Rhinowash strengthens relationship with Scottish Ambulance Service

Rhinowash has today announced the extension of its relationship with the Scottish Ambulance Service (SAS), who are based on the frontline of the NHS and despatch immediate medical assistance or clinical advice to over 5 million people across Scotland.

With over 40 years’ experience in the business of pressure washers, Rhinowash boasts a high calibre roster of clients, many of whom have a long-standing relationship with the family run business such as SAS. Rhinowash supports SAS in over 80 locations across the country and have recently upgraded the legacy equipment located in the Thurso, Peebles and Haddington depots. This existing equipment ranged from 12 to an impressive 30 years old.

Establishing themselves as market leaders and industry experts, it’s no surprise that Rhinowash have now strengthened their relationship with SAS further by securing 3 new machine orders for locations which haven’t previously had Rhinowash equipment, at 3 special and strategically located depots across the North, East and West of Scotland. Specifically, in Aberdeen, Newbridge and Johnstone.

Each new wash system is a ST C20/15 Cold Series Cabinet system complete with Hose Management System. The cold static machines are specifically being sent to the SORT arm of SAS; the Special Operations Response Team who provide a specialist response to major incidents and provide emergency care in hostile environments.

Mark Burns, Director at Rhinowash, says: “We have been working with the Scottish Ambulance Service for nearly 40 years, almost as long as our business has been around for. As one of our longest standing relationships, we couldn’t be prouder to be expanding our supply to them. A wash system is an integral part to many businesses, even more so for the emergency services industry. Ambulances are required to operate in any and all environments, so pressure washers are vital to keep the vehicles in the best condition possible to ensure that they perform to their optimum ability and do the job that they’re there to do.”

He continued: “My goal has always been to provide our clients with the highest quality pressure washers that are built to last and can be relied upon. By manufacturing in the UK and with a focus on remanufacturing, our clients can trust that their machines will stand the test of time. If something does go wrong, our Quick Swap Modular Design System allows us to guarantee a first-time fix, often on the same day, preventing any downtime for our clients which is key to our relationship with SAS.”

Rhinowash also offer extensive preventative maintenance and service plans, to further extend the life of their machines. This has allowed them to extend warrantable periods for many users from up to 5 years and in some instances beyond. With this level of reliability, we predict Rhinowash will continue to service not just the emergency service industry, but also the construction, transport and numerous other industries, for many more years to come.
