Komatsu opens a hands-on store for the PC01E-1 electric micro-excavator in Japan

Komatsu has announced they will be showcasing their electric micro-excavator for one month from August 10 to September 9 this year in Kaze AEON Laketown.

The PC01E-1 micro-excavator is an electric machine jointly developed between Komatsu and Honda Motor Co., Ltd..

In March of this year, Komatsu started to introduce the micro-excavator to the domestic Japanese market as a rental machine. Cooperating with the trial operation of the demonstration experiment

Customers have commented on the ease of battery replacement, the convenience of being able to charge with a household 100V power supply, and the quiet engine.

In addition to the fact that it does not require excessive maintenance and refuelling, unlike the petrol engine alternatives. The electric machine has been highly commended for its practical advantages and highly rated for its work performance.

Komatsu will exhibit at the b8ta exhibition so customers can experience the PC01E-1 more closely. In addition to being able to actually take a commemorative photo with the PC01E-1, Komatsu plan to distribute novelties to those who take part.
