Kubota and Terrako Transforming Parts Procurement in the UK
Kubota (UK) Ltd has taken a bold leap forward with the launch of Terrako, a powerful new digital marketplace designed to transform how customers source and purchase genuine Kubota parts. In an era where time is money and efficiency is everything, Terrako brings a welcome dose of innovation to the construction, agricultural, and industrial sectors.
No more calling around, flipping through dusty manuals, or guessing part numbers at the counter. With Terrako, Kubota equipment owners can order what they need—accurately and efficiently—using just a smartphone or desktop.
Simon Chadbone, Kubota UK’s division manager for parts, summed up the innovation neatly: “As an all-new digital marketplace, the development of Terrako has made it very easy and convenient for customers to order genuine parts for their Kubota equipment, even if they’re unsure of who their local Kubota dealer is.”
Always Online, Always Accurate
Terrako’s biggest advantage? It runs 24/7, offering customers real-time access to dealer stock levels and recommended retail pricing. Once an account is set up—free of charge—it opens the digital doors to a fully integrated parts ecosystem.
Parts searching is simplified with intuitive schematics and parts numbers that ensure users get exactly what they need. Whether it’s a pin, filter, or a full service kit, customers no longer need to cart components into a dealership just to identify them.
Chadbone explained: “It may be that the nearest dealer might be out of stock, but another Kubota dealer within easy reach may have those parts sat on the shelf. Searching with Terrako will speed up the process of finding and buying the correct genuine parts. And it’s operational 24 hours/day, seven days/week.”
Built for Work on the Move
Terrako is a game changer for contractors and field operators who spend most of their time away from base. With just a few clicks, parts can be located and ordered without the need to return to the depot or make lengthy phone calls.
The system also suggests the nearest Kubota dealer and shows their stock levels, making it easier to decide whether to collect in person or request delivery to site. Customers have three delivery options:
- Collect from a local dealer
- Arrange dealer delivery to site
- Request direct delivery from Kubota
All payments are processed securely online at checkout, and confirmation emails keep customers informed throughout.
More Than Just Parts
Terrako is not only a marketplace for genuine Kubota parts. It also offers:
- Full-service kits
- Genuine Kubota oils and filters
- Promotional offers from dealers
- Dealer-created bespoke bundles and discounts
By centralising these resources, Terrako becomes more than a parts portal—it’s a one-stop shop for Kubota maintenance and operational support.
Simon Chadbone added: “The introduction of our Terrako digital marketplace has now made it much easier for Kubota customers to buy the correct genuine parts without having to take the required items to a dealership for identification.”
Meet the Terrako Team at Plantworx
Kubota is actively rolling out Terrako with full customer support. The team behind the platform will be present at Plantworx on Stand B-32, B-33 from 23–25 September. There, users will be guided through account setup and shown how to navigate the platform’s features.
This presence signals Kubota’s commitment not just to launch the tool, but to make sure every user gets the most out of it.
A Global Brand, A Local Solution
While Terrako is a UK-focused platform, it’s backed by Kubota’s global reputation. Founded in 1890 and headquartered in Osaka, Japan, Kubota is a trusted name in agriculture, construction and industrial equipment.
With more than 55,000 employees and a footprint in over 120 countries, Kubota generated $21.4 billion in revenue in 2023 alone. But there’s more to the brand than machines. Kubota also develops technologies for water purification, irrigation, infrastructure, piping systems, and home construction.
This broad base of expertise gives Kubota the confidence—and capability—to bring advanced digital tools like Terrako to the fore.
A Smarter Way Forward
Terrako represents more than just a digital leap; it marks a shift in how parts procurement is perceived in the construction and agricultural sectors. By removing friction points, simplifying logistics, and adding transparency, Kubota has given its customers something invaluable: time.
As Terrako continues to evolve, expect more integrations, smart diagnostics, and possibly AI-enhanced recommendations to help users anticipate and prevent downtime before it happens.
For now, though, Terrako stands tall as a beacon of practical innovation.
“With an online Terrako account, genuine Kubota parts can be ordered from anywhere, using any mobile device,” Chadbone emphasised. And that simple promise may well be the start of a new era in aftersales support.
