Boschung salt measuring device SOBO 3+ comes with new reporting app
Besides showing the r-weather multi-sensor, Boschung exhibits at the Pollutec tradeshow in Lyon another new product: the SOBO 3+.
The SOBO 3+ is a mobile measuring device that works without external energy and determines within a few seconds the residual salt content (in g/m2) on road pavement.
With the SOBO 3+, an Android-based smartphone application is available on Google Play app store (application called “SOBO”). Measurements taken with a SOBO are sent via wireless connectivity to the SOBO app and are saved.
After measurement, data can be sent by e-mail as a PDF document. While such reports used to be usually made by hand in the past, the SOBO app increases the process efficiency.
The documents can be used for further analyses on the specific road conditions, to determine exposed spots and thus optimize the spreading activities.
