Sacyr awarded their fourth highway conservation contract in Peru

Sacyr will be responsible for the routine management and conservation of 436 kilometres of highway along the road corridor linking the Peruvian departments of Ayacucho, Huancavelica and Junín, located in the centre of the country.

The Rutas de Ayacucho Road Consortium, formed by two subsidiaries of Sacyr, Saopse and Sacyr Conservación, will develop this work, which has a budget of more than 47 million soles (€12.6 million).

The contract, which has been awarded by Provías Nacional after a tender process, will start in March and will be cover a three year period.

Sacyr will be responsible for the routine management and conservation of 436 kilometres of highway along the road corridor linking the Peruvian departments of Ayacucho, Huancavelica and Junín, located in the centre of the country.

2,200 kilometres

With the addition of this new project, Sacyr is responsible for the conservation of 2,200 km of Peruvian highway, of which more than 1,400 km are service contracts of National Provias.

Another 800 km belong to the Operation and Maintenance management of the concession of Section II of the Longitudinal Highway of the Sierra. These figures position Sacyr as the leader of the National Road Conservation Market.
