Eagle Crusher Unveils the Talon Series for Next-Generation Crushing
Eagle Crusher Co. has expanded its machinery line with a new suite of heavy-duty crushing and stockpiling systems aimed at the recycling and aggregates sectors. The equipment will make its official debut at CONEXPO-CON/AGG in Las Vegas from 3 to 7 March 2025 at Booth C31414.
Construction professionals attending the show can explore the TalonTrax mobile crushing plant, the TalonStack radial stockpiling conveyor, the next generation UltraMax 1400-OC plant, and Eagle Crusher’s highly regarded triple-deck E-Plant.
Eagle Crusher has long championed machinery that simplifies on-site recycling operations while delivering dependable performance across diverse environments. The introduction of Talon equipment aims to reinforce this reputation by improving mobility, power efficiency, stockpiling logistics, and overall material handling.
TalonTrax Mobile Crushing for Maximum Mobility
The TalonTrax mobile crushing plant is built for robust on-site duties while retaining the mobility that contractors increasingly need. It has been engineered for fast setup, reliable manoeuvrability, and sustained production levels without compromising crushing power.
At the centre of TalonTrax is Eagle Crusher’s TalonMax TM-15 impactor, a new open-rotor design that improves weight distribution and reduces the amount of structural mass while retaining the company’s trademark crushing capability. The reduced mass assists with mobility and transport, while the updated blowbar design improves wear life for operators managing abrasive recycled aggregates and asphalt.
The plant has a dual-power configuration, enabling operation from the onboard diesel engine or from external power such as line power or a generator set. This provides flexibility for remote worksites where fuel or emissions management may affect operational planning.

Streamlined Material Flow and Plant Access
A core feature of the TalonTrax is its dual-motor under-crusher pan feeder, which offers sector-leading discharge clearance greater than 23 inches. This wider clearance promotes efficient material flow and helps prevent clogging, especially when processing mixed demolition waste or reinforced concrete.
To further support maintenance and safety, the TalonTrax has a removable discharge conveyor. Removing this conveyor provides quick access beneath the crusher for inspections, wear checks, component swaps, and cleaning. This improves uptime and simplifies plant servicing in confined or high-activity locations.
The plant integrates a cross-belt permanent magnet to capture steel contaminants, a vital feature for demolition recycling and reclaimed asphalt processing. Operators can reverse discharge direction depending on worksite layout, and the magnet remains mounted during machine transport.
Hopper Design and Aggregate Processing Flexibility
Eagle Crusher has ensured that TalonTrax supports both excavator and loader feeding thanks to a reinforced hopper with heavy-duty construction. The hopper incorporates a grizzly bypass chute and a cross conveyor with a flop gate, giving users control over how finer material is managed.
Teams can bypass and stockpile material that passes through the grizzly deck or blend it into the crushed material to meet product specifications. This enables on-site aggregate recycling workflows that require controlled blending and consistent grading.
TalonStack Radial Stockpiling for Smarter Logistics
Eagle Crusher has also developed the TalonStack self-propelled radial stockpiling conveyor to address material handling challenges in quarry, recycling, and demolition environments. The TalonStack 65 is showcased at CONEXPO-CON/AGG, and Eagle Crusher has indicated that multiple sizes are available for contractors with varying mobility or volume requirements.
Self-propelled conveyors reduce the need for loader-based stockpiling, cutting fuel use and decreasing labour time while keeping stockpiles consistent and evenly distributed. Radial systems also assist with segregation control and loadout efficiency when preparing recycled materials for transport.
The TalonStack platform is designed to minimise operator costs, enhance mobility, and improve jobsite logistics. When combined with the TalonTrax plant, the Talon equipment family supports fully integrated material processing and handling.

UltraMax 1400-OC for Large-Scale Crushing and Screening
The next generation UltraMax 1400-OC remains one of Eagle Crusher’s cornerstone plants for high-volume crushing and screening. The latest version has been designed to simplify maintenance, improve operator access, and streamline service intervals. Its versatility is suited to larger demolition and aggregate projects, as well as reclaimed asphalt recycling.
Material discharge from the impactor feeds a separate conveyor positioned at a 90-degree angle, enhancing material efficiency. The unit can be configured with an optional pan feeder to stabilise the flow of feed material and reduce spillage.
The company states: “Our next generation UltraMax systems have been engineered to offer the ease of use and serviceability that operators expect, without compromising performance.” The platform is increasingly used by large recycling contractors seeking dependable material processing across several product sizes.
Triple-Deck E-Plant for High-Production Screening
Eagle Crusher’s E-Plant remains the industry’s only true triple-deck crushing and screening platform mounted on a single chassis. Since its introduction in 2014, it has become a trusted high-production system for aggregate, asphalt, and recycling facilities.
The E-Plant transports in one pull, which reduces mobilisation costs and simplifies fleet management for contractors working across multiple projects. The plant will be displayed at CONEXPO-CON/AGG in its triple-deck configuration, although a two-deck model remains available for users that require more compact screening arrangements.
Triple-deck systems allow simultaneous production of multiple aggregate sizes from a single pass, supporting a higher level of output and more efficient stockpiling or loadout. This capability is valuable for recycled demolition waste operations where product variance and consistent grading are critical.
Recycling and Sustainability
Mobility, fuel flexibility, and smarter stockpiling continue to grow in importance across the recycling and aggregates industries. Contractors want to process more waste on-site instead of hauling demolition debris away for secondary screening or crushing.
The Talon series reflects broader market interest in:
- More electric and hybrid-power crushing platforms.
- Automatic steel separation and contaminant removal.
- Self-propelled conveyors that minimise loader work.
- Integrated plants that reduce setup time.
Across North America and Europe, urban redevelopment schemes continue to encourage circular construction practices. Mobile crushing plants like TalonTrax help contractors reuse reinforced concrete, reclaimed asphalt, and mixed demolition waste while reducing vehicle movements and landfill reliance.

A Positive Step Toward Efficient On-Site Operations
Eagle Crusher’s Talon equipment family brings together several key industry shifts, including dual-power machinery, radial stockpiling, and triple-deck screening on a single chassis. Contractors can operate more efficiently and reduce onsite bottlenecks, whether managing recycled asphalt, reclaimed aggregate, or demolition waste.
With the infrastructure rebuild market continuing to accelerate, systems that combine mobility, power flexibility, and efficient stockpiling offer new opportunities for construction and recycling professionals.
