June 1st marks a milestone for Snapmaker as it celebrates its 8th anniversary with a theme that takes us back to the core of its mission: “Play Well.”
This theme, reminiscent of childhood joy and exploration, embodies Snapmaker’s dedication to fostering innovation and creativity. The anniversary festivities include the much-anticipated Makerathon and the launch of the state-of-the-art Snapmaker Artisan Premium.
Makerathon: A 48-Hour Creative Challenge
One of the highlights of Snapmaker’s 8th-anniversary celebration is the two-day Makerathon, scheduled for May 31st and June 1st. This event is not just a testament to Snapmaker’s innovative spirit but also a demonstration of teamwork and creativity among its employees.
During the Makerathon, 10 teams of Snapmaker employees will compete to create something truly wonderful. Using Snapmaker’s advanced 3-in-1 3D printers, which seamlessly combine 3D printing, laser cutting, engraving, and CNC milling, these teams will craft a variety of playful and functional items. Expected creations range from games and sports equipment to friendly robots, toys, and musical instruments.
The event will be live-streamed on Snapmaker’s Facebook page, inviting the global community to join in the fun and excitement. If you can’t catch it live, don’t worry! The recordings will be available for later playback, and post-event videos will be shared about a week later.
