Trimble to showcase Surveying Solutions at DCW and GeoBusiness
Trimble is set to attend Digital Construction Week and GEO Business taking place at London’s ExCel, with the global technology company set to bring its construction and surveying solutions to the exhibition at Stand D250-300..
Trimble has a range of solutions and connected workflows available for the construction and surveying industries. The company helps teams from the initial concept and design stages, through to estimating, fabrication and beyond, with on-site construction reporting and recording. This enables information to be accessed at the right time, by job function and project phase, improving productivity and generating more sustainable outcomes.
Visitors to the Trimble stand (D250-300) at Digital Construction Week will be able to speak with the team and learn about its portfolio of connected solutions for their entire workflow:
- Design: With numerous parties involved at the initial design stage of a project including surveyors, architects, structural engineers and MEP contractors, connected workflows are essential. From surveying and reality capture equipment and cloud-based collaboration tools to multi-material design, analysis and detailing software, the process can be streamlined to facilitate effective coordination and deliver better project outcomes.
- Estimate: Whether working with precast, cast-in-place concrete, structural steel or MEP services, estimators have to consider a range of factors from cost, quantities, material availability, deadlines and tight specifications. This is why adopting a digital workflow can be invaluable with all information able to be condensed into a single software suite and communicated accurately.
- Construct: When on site, connected workflows can ensure all the valuable data gained along the project sequence is put to good use. Collaboration tools, field reporting and recording software, and mixed reality technology can allow teams to gain valuable project insights, improve productivity and mitigate risk.
