The World Quantum Cannes Festival, taking place on 17–18 November 2026 at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes, France, is positioning itself as an international meeting point for the accelerating industrialisation of quantum technology. Bringing together more than 100 senior figures from quantum companies, global enterprises, research institutions, universities, investment organisations and government, the inaugural event is designed to connect scientific capability with commercial adoption.
Its programme includes a dedicated Top Executive Program bringing C-suite decision-makers into direct contact with technology developers, researchers and investors, reflecting the industry’s growing focus on turning quantum advances into viable products, services and industrial applications.
For the construction, infrastructure and industrial sectors, that transition could ultimately prove far more important than quantum computing itself. Quantum and hybrid quantum-classical technologies have potential implications for complex optimisation, infrastructure design and scheduling, logistics and supply chains, energy networks, advanced materials, sensing and asset monitoring.
