The 22nd Annual Highways and Airport Pavement Engineering, Asphalt Technology and Infrastructure Conference will take place on 4–5 March 2026 at Liverpool John Moores University in the UK, bringing together professionals, academics and industry experts from around the world to explore the latest developments in pavement engineering and related infrastructure.
Hosted by the School of Civil Engineering and Built Environment in association with ASI Solutions and Colas Ltd, this long-running international conference continues a tradition dating back to 2001, featuring presentations and discussions on highways and airport pavement design, asphalt materials and technology, sustainable construction practices, environmental protection, IT applications in infrastructure, and innovative approaches such as energy reduction and recycling initiatives.
The event provides a platform for knowledge exchange among policy makers, regulators, planners, researchers, designers, contractors and material suppliers, and offers opportunities for networking, sharing cutting-edge research, and advancing best practice in the planning, construction and management of critical transport infrastructure systems.
