CASE Construction Equipment dealer Warwick Ward has sold and delivered the first NEW 721G wheel loader to Blackpole Recycling Ltd based in Worcestershire.

At the customer’s request, Warwick Ward modified the new 721G model so that it is designed for purpose with comfort ride solid tyres that further protect the machine from punctures, as well as extra belly guards, a waste ejector ram guard and a screen guard outside of the cab. The machine is also fitted with a Venturi kit that will protect it when working in dusty environments.

“Having bought a CX180D from Warwick Ward last October, customer Jonathan Dew, Managing Director of Blackpole Recycling, was already impressed with the CASE brand due to the machine’s reliability, fuel efficiency and operator comfort. So, it made sense that when it came to buying a new wheel loader, he would specifically request a CASE machine and, of course, we were happy to assist,” explains Martin Brain, Sales Manager, Warwick Ward.

“The local dealer support we received from Warwick Ward when we purchased our first CASE machine was excellent. When we came to purchase the new wheel loader, we were given a demonstration of the machine and a site survey which highlighted we didn’t need as large a machine as we originally thought. The machine’s primary use will be re-handling waste and aggregates,” comments Jonathan. He adds: “I was looking for a loading shovel that was robust enough for this type of application, that was fuel-efficient and of a size that would reduce the time it takes to fill and empty a bucket without counting for any overspills.”

The new G-Series wheel loaders come with a brand new payload system designed for reliability, time savings and resulting productivity improvements. The system is integrated directly into the wheel loader’s primary display and provides bucket-weight, pass counts, accumulated/running weight, job tracking data and more, for high-volume loading and production environments.

Indeed, the latest model is more sophisticated than its predecessor. As standard, it includes a new, more user-friendly, touchscreen display designed to suit operators’ personal preferences, complemented by the machine’s new configurable buttons. These three buttons are colour-coded and integrated within the armrest, presenting operators with a shortcut to their most frequently used screens. As a result, this enables operators to work faster.

From the owner’s perspective, new enhancements include the new tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) and a simplified fuel-saving power mode, providing greater capabilities for them to reduce the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).

The new range of machines also come with CASE SiteConnect and SiteWatch™ as standard for three years. This telematics solution is built to gather critical information about the machine’s performance and location, with the data quickly available for site managers to make decisions without being physically present.

In addition to assisting Blackpole Recycling with modifications to the wheel loader, such as fitting the machine with an Auto Lube System. Including a parallel lift with Z-bar configuration that gives the operator the power and ability to lift heavy loads (such as pallets) level, Martin also provided an overview of CASE’s 360 business solution offering that makes the machine more cost-effective and valuable for the customer.

These include commercial and financial promotions to products and services such as aftersales service packages, machine control, and financial services. As a result of this, Jonathan purchased the new wheel loader using CASE’s finance offering.

Speaking on the first sale in Great Britain, Joseph O’Grady, Business Director Northern Europe, CASE Construction Equipment, said: “I am delighted that the first sale and delivery of the new CASE 721G wheel loader with its expanded feature set has gone successfully. The machine is designed to work safely in the most extreme conditions and, for Blackpole Recycling, will also demonstrate that it simplifies operations by increasing uptime, improving productivity and increasing profitability.”
