Digital Construction Sites and Sustainability on show at SaMoTer 2023

With just under five months to go, the 31st edition of SaMoTer is to be held in Verona, 3-7 May 2023, with a focus on innovation.

Strong attendance especially sees the return to the show of CGT, the exclusive distributor of Caterpillar product lines and part of the international TESYA Group. Attendance at Samoter – and Asphaltica held at the same time – has also been confirmed by: Ammann, Bobcat, Bomag, Cifa, Dieci, Doosan, Hidromek, Kato Imer, Kobelco, Komatsu, Magni, Marini, Merlo, Sany, Sermac, Sunward, Takeuchi, Venieri, Wacker Neuson, Wirtgen, Yanmar and Zoomlion.

Spotlights on the Samoter Lab demo area, the beating heart of the high-tech trade show, where the Cantiere Digitale-Digital Construction Site will be set up. Not merely an exercise in style but a full-scale automated and integrated construction site where Machinery 4.0 and digital control technologies will be shown at work for an event with high-level technological innovation staged several times a day for the entire duration of the trade fair. It will also be broadcast live on the screens inside Samoter Lab in Hall 12 and at the entrance to the Exhibition Centre.

Cantiere Digitale-Digital Construction Site reflects the desire to demonstrate the philosophy underlying Samoter Lab even more effectively: the adoption of new technologies makes companies in the construction sector more innovative, more competitive and more sustainable.

The Digital Construction Site will display advantages of technological innovation associated with connectivity and the use of data in terms of efficiency, thanks to work cycle optimization and lower consumption, higher productivity through real-time monitoring systems, safety, through remote control of work in hazardous environments and predictive trouble-shooting. The project is the result of collaboration with “Quelli del movimento terra”.

SaMoTer will be the only event in 2023 forthe supply chain in Europe. Consequently, Cantiere Digitale-Digital Construction Site is an important opportunity for manufacturers, buyers and sector operators to discover and exploit the benefits of technological innovation.
