Angola invites bids for 12km road to support the Artisanal Fishing Community of Yembe

An invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for this project which appeared in UNDB online, dated 4th April and 14th April online and on the African Development Bank Group’s Website.

The Republic of Angola has received financing from the African Development Bank in various currencies towards the cost of their Fishery Sector Support. It is intended that part of the proceeds of this loan will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for Construction of 12 KM of road at Artisanal Fishing Community of Yembe.

The Project Implementation Unit is now inviting sealed bids from eligible bidders for the execution of these.

Interested, eligible bidders may obtain further information and the bidding documents at the office of Fishery Sector Support Project Office located at Bairro Talatona, Rua do Mat – Complexo Administrativo, Edifício nº 5 – 1º Andar.

A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of US$200.

The provisions in the Instructions to Bidders and in the General Conditions of Contract are the provisions of the African Development Bank Standard Bidding Document: Procurement of Goods or Procurement of Works.

Bids must be delivered to the above office on or before 11 O’clock Angolan time on June 5, 2017 and must be accompanied by a Bid Security Declaration.

Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at 12 O’clock on June 5, 2017 at the office address Bairro Talatona, Rua do Mat – Complexo Administrativo, Edifício nº 5 – 1º Andar.
