Tirana Airport releases Consultancy tender for airfield rehabilitation and terminal expansion
Tirana International Airport (TIA) is preparing for anticipating future growth with a commitment to undertake a number of capital expenditure projects from 2020-2022.
The main projects will be airfield infrastructure rehabilitation under operations, design and terminal expansion. Also included in the scope of the works is the preparation of the Maintenance and Investment Schedule summarizing the conditions of assets, risk, targets and resulting refurbishment and investment cost.
TIA intends to engage a project management consultant with suitable international airport experience at the Project Manager, who will support TIA with a professional, comprehensive and efficient project management service for the projects. These project management services shall include the development phase, through permitting, tender, design and the construction phases up to the actual start of operations.
Interested parties are expected to have successfully completed 2 similar projects in the past 5 years, with each in the range of €15m – €20m. Parties will need to submit an official letter of expression of interest for participation by email.
Upon receipt, TIA will send by return a Confidentiality Commitment form to be returned by 27th November 2019.
The tender documents will be delivered free, via email and offers must be submitted by 16 December 2019.
