FM Conway celebrates PAS 2080:2023 Carbon Certification
Leading infrastructure services company FM Conway is now British Standards Institute (BSI) certified to PAS 2080:2023, the global standard for the management and reduction of whole-life carbon in infrastructure and the built environment.
PAS 2080 provides the framework for managing whole-life carbon across infrastructure projects through promotion of early collaboration with the whole value chain and embedding low carbon decision making into every phase of works.
The stringent audit process highlighted FM Conway’s self-delivery model as a key contributor to intelligently designing out carbon, as well as its bespoke whole-life carbon assessment and reporting tool which contains over 15,000 materials and fuels – enabling carbon impact assessments to be provided for all works it delivers. The certification illustrates the business’ dedication to continual improvement and fostering a culture that promotes and incentivises carbon reduction both across the business and in collaboration with the supply chain.
By achieving PAS 2080 certification as a ‘constructor’, FM Conway solidifies its position as an industry leader in sustainability and its commitment to supporting clients in achieving their decarbonisation goals.
