Packing a payload of 240 tonnes, it boasts zero emissions and continuous operational capacity thanks to both static and dynamic charging capabilities. The truck taps into a lateral power rail mid-motion—so no downtime, just nonstop performance.
Then there’s the electric R 9400 E mining excavator. This 350-tonne beast runs on mains electricity or battery power, and you’ll see its shovelling power first-hand at the show. Worth noting: the power for the demos is entirely sourced from renewables. That’s not just sustainability talk—that’s action.
Over in the earthmoving zone, there is a live display of autonomous machines, including the L 550 XPower wheel loader, PR 726 crawler dozer, and R 926 crawler excavator. Each can be operated remotely from the InnovationLab using Liebherr Remote Control, making them perfect for hazardous environments.
