The airport has already experienced a surge in demand, handling 1,060,000 passengers in 2023 and surpassing 918,000 travellers by October 2024. The submission of Technical and Economic Offers marks a significant milestone in the Second Concession of La Araucanía Airport. The evaluation process is set to culminate on December 20, 2024, with the concession expected to be awarded in Q1 of 2025.
