VINCI Opens PPP Financed D4 Motorway in Czech Republic
In a significant milestone for Czech infrastructure, VINCI has officially opened the D4 motorway, marking the country’s first motorway delivered under a public-private partnership (PPP).
Situated approximately 40 kilometres southwest of Prague, the newly completed D4 stretches across 32 kilometres of fresh road, with an additional 16 kilometres of refurbished routes. This landmark project seamlessly connects South Bohemia to vital trade corridors leading to Germany and Austria, facilitating both regional mobility and international commerce.
Prime Minister Petr Fiala and Transport Minister Martin Kupka inaugurated the D4 motorway, lauding it as a transformative development for the Czech Republic.
