SWARCO Traffic expands into new facilities
SWARCO Traffic, the traffic technology group, has moved into a new, larger premises to accommodate the company’s continued growth and provide additional space for production, assembly, servicing and spares.
The premises, located six miles north of its former Richmond headquarters, is a former high-end racing stable that has been transformed into a modern facility that better reflects the modernity of the SWARCO brand, that similarly supports the company as a true innovator in the mobility industry.
Andrew Walker, Business Development at SWARCO Traffic says the new headquarters will enable the company’s progression to continue: “Having outgrown our facility in Richmond, the new premises will allow further expansion and enable us to continue to provide the highest level of service and support to our customers and clients.”
The move confirms SWARCO Traffic’s commitment not only to the local area, but also its nationwide business, as a centre of excellence for product and service support.
As an essential business, SWARCO has continued to provide essential services and support throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and UK lockdown. “As a business we had to be agile and adapt, so that necessary road maintenance works could be completed on time and in some cases, even ahead of schedule.”, Andrew continues. “We’re proud that we have continued to play our part as a key member of the highways infrastructure supply chain and helped to keep our roads moving freely and safely during these challenging times.”
