Skyjack shines as a Gold Sponsor at IPAF Asia

Skyjack is a Gold Sponsor at the leading powered access conference in Asia. The eighth annual IPAF Asia Conference which opens today in Hangzhou, the Zhejiang province of China. As a Gold Sponsor, Skyjack will be exhibiting a few of the region’s most popular and sought after models at outdoor stand A02.

“The SJIII 3219 DC scissor lift is the most popular scissor lift in the world, so it’s no surprise that it’s our top seller in the Asia market,” said Simon Cracknell, sales, operations, and market development director for Skyjack Asia. “Given that information we thought that product deserved a spot front row and centre at IPAF Asia. We’ll also have our SJ16 vertical mast and SJ30 ARJE articulating boom at our outdoor stand.”

IPAF promises a conference that covers Big Data, Increasing Your ROI, and a new direction for our industry. Zhejiang province is home to numerous developments focusing on building up its industrial and technological sectors so it’s the perfect location for a conference as progressive as this. With any mass development, comes a large volume of construction contracts and Skyjack has seen that upward trend throughout China since entering the market in 2011.

At the 2015 IPAF Asia Conference in Hong Kong Skyjack President Brad Boehler said that Skyjack identified key areas that will affect the rate of growth within the access industry in Asia. Those key areas included:

  • The development and acceptance of the rental concept
  • Addressing the imbalance of AWP use in construction
  • Advancing health and safety legislation and its policing

“Aerial access equipment is a safe way to bring people to height, and the educational material and stricter policing that’s been introduced have resulted in a movement within the market towards our machines,” Cracknell explains.

“IPAF Asia is a fantastic event as it is brings in companies and speakers from across the globe. It’s important for attendees to get these varied point of views to help further the industry within the Asian market.”

Representatives from Skyjack’s team will be on-site throughout the event that takes place at the Intercontinental Hotel in Hangzhou.
