Trade show firsts: MaxControl and the T35.130SLP Telehandler

The arrival of the MaxControl Remote Control system at Smopyc followed on from its full European launch earlier in the month. MaxControl enables operators to control Bobcat compact loaders remotely via an app, using an iPhone or iPad. Bobcat MaxControl is a new hardware kit, combined with an iOS application, with easy-to-use touch controls designed for smartphones, so that remote control using the system is just as intuitive as using a phone app.

The MaxControl system is compatible with all Bobcat loaders with Selectable Joystick Controls (SJC). By combining jobs without having to jump in and out of the loader’s cab, the MaxControl system provides the operator with a different view of the job in hand, allowing them to carry out tasks remotely, and to repeat the process with maximum comfort and safety.

New R-Series Telehandler Range

The Bobcat T35.130SLP model is part of the new generation R-Series range of telehandlers, powered by a new version of the Bobcat D34 Stage V engine. Like all the new R-Series telehandlers, the T35.130SLP offers agility on demand, with a newly configured transmission system providing enhanced smoothness to carry out the trickiest jobs at height with maximum precision. These operations are also facilitated by the combination of the Boom Positioning System, the new updated, ultra-precise joystick, the inching function and the improved visibility from the cab.

The new cab offers a unique central control panel for optimized 360° ergonomics and the highest comfort levels for the operator. The optimum weight distribution of the T35.130SLP and all other new R-Series telehandlers, with or without the compact stabilizers being employed, also allows operators to safely reach as high and as far as possible while handling heavy loads with the machines.

More New Bobcat Products at Smopyc

Visitors to Smopyc could also admire the new Bobcat L85 compact wheel loader (CWL). Key features of the L85 include its powerful Bobcat engine and hydraulic circuit, its compact size, high stability, breakout forces, traction and the high flow rate that allows it to be equipped with a choice of original Bobcat attachments, giving it even greater versatility.

Another unique feature is the advanced attachment control. This revolutionary system allows the operator to change machine control patterns with the push of a button. This offers independent control of engine speed and maximum auxiliary flow and machine travel speed. Thanks to the 7-pin connector, the operator can control even the most complicated attachments intuitively and efficiently. The L85 is equipped as standard with the hydraulic Quick-Tach system, compatible with the most widely used standard couplers in the industry.

A Bob-Tach adapter is also available allowing customers to use existing Bobcat attachments that they use on their Bobcat compact loaders. Among the standard flow attachments of note are the 4-in-1 bucket and the sweeper range, but with the high flow option installed, it is possible to use planer and snowblower attachments. All of them very easy to use thanks to the advanced attachment control fitted as standard.

Another new product at Smopyc was the Bobcat T76 vertical lift path compact track loader, part of the revolutionary R-Series of compact loaders. To ensure optimum performance and comfort, the T76 has enhanced stability due to a longer wheelbase and track footprint compared to previous generation machines.

The higher stability combined with enhanced efficiency from the hydraulics provides class leading push and breakout forces and increased lift capacity, resulting in higher productivity even on the toughest jobs.

The longer tracks also ensure a smoother ride. The new T76 compact track loader has a solid undercarriage system as standard, but can be equipped with the optional 5-Link Torsion Suspension Undercarriage guaranteeing an even better ride, tackling rough terrain with ease, feeling less bumps and avoiding material spillage.
