Building upon the foundation of road signalling trailers, the new design integrates a maintenance vehicle with a self-driving tow trailer. Imagine a scenario where a vehicle automatically releases a trailer at the onset of lane diversion. This trailblazing trailer, leveraging leader-follower technology, autonomously trails the primary vehicle, strategically placing traffic cones to streamline traffic according to established safety guidelines.
