Envirobuild gears up for growth with new board directors
Envirobuild, supplier of sustainable building products, is marking the next stage in its development with the appointment of two non executive directors. Sandi Rhys Jones OBE and Ken Lindsay join the rapidly growing team that has recently been awarded contracts by Bellway, Bouygues, McAleer & Rushe, Galliard Homes and Galliford Try.
The two new directors bring a combination of finance, business and construction knowledge. Sandi Rhys Jones OBE brings many years experience in strategic marketing and management across the construction and housebuilding sector, working with contractors, architects and engineers as well as national and local government, specialist sub contractors and materials suppliers.
Ken Lindsay has many years experience in corporate finance, working with Arthur Andersen, BZW and private equity specialists ECI, and in manufacturing and commerce including BUPA, Racal Acoustics and Stewart Plastics.
Founder and CEO James Brueton says. “We are committed to building a successful business by finding, developing and supplying products for the housing sector which are both sustainable and cost-effective – and we have invited two experienced individuals from the construction and business world to help us achieve this aim.”
Co-Founder Aidan Bell, who worked with James Brueton at Deloitte and successfully led EvoEnergy before joining Envirobuild, says, “We believe that it is possible to combine business ambition with environmental commitment, and having experienced friends on the Board is a key part of that.”
